Todd is an adventurer, award-winning documentary-maker, television presenter and businessman. He is the co-creator of the Earth Hour initiative, one of the largest environmental movements in history. The Financial Review and News Limited ranked him as one of the most influential executives in Australia. Todd sits on the Board of Directors for Qantas.
Todd is also the breakout star of the hit ABC show the Gruen Planet and a co-host on the Channel 10 news show, The Project. He is the writer, producer and host of the award-winning documentary series Redesign My Brain, Life on the Line and Discovery International adventure-science series BodyHack.
Bernard Salt is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading social commentators by business, the media and the broader community. He is well known to the wider community for his penchant for identifying and tagging new tribes and social behaviours such as the ‘Seachange Shift’, the ‘Man Drought’, ‘PUMCINS’ (pronounced pumkins) and the ‘Goats Cheese Curtain’. He is perhaps best known for popularising the phrase “smashed avocado” globally. Bernard was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2017 Australia Day honours.
Jackie is a business consultant and a producer of documentary films and television. Jackie’s recent credits include the NETFLIX Original series Chef’s Table, and the theatrical feature film A Fire Inside, released by Icon films and the Dendy Cinema group in 2021.
In 1997, Michael went on tour with The Rolling Stones to make the live concert film Bridges to Babylon. Since then, his work with award-winning actors, musicians, artists, and sports figures. Michael is now focused on documentary projects with themes of social justice, inclusive culture, and music.
Dave Webber has been with the NSW SES for almost 18 years and has witnessed and been actively involved in the exponential evolution of Public Information Warnings over that time.
Dave Rankine has been actively involved in media and public information at the Western Floods over the previous 6 months and has rich experience engaging with rural and regional communities.
Janet Pettit has been working in Public Information role each time the Lismore Levy overtopped in recent months. She has a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills in working with volunteers and communities before, during and after the impacts of floods.
