The Australian Community Engagement and Fire Awareness (ACEFA) Conference is for community engagement practitioners within the NSW RFS and beyond. 

Since the late 1990s, ACEFA has been hosted by the NSW Rural Fire Service to inspire, encourage and interrogate best practice in fire awareness and bush fire preparedness.

Volunteer and employed community engagement practitioners from the emergency services, government and the private sectors come together to share knowledge, experiences and better understand the strengths and resilience with our communities.

We welcome participation from around Australia and overseas. ACEFA 2022 will be held face-to-face and online from Thursday 26 – Saturday 28 May 2022 at the Newcastle Exhibition and Conference Centre (NEX).
